What We Learned this Week: Bible:  This week, we studied King Solomon's wealth and the visit of the Queen of Sheba. The students will be taking the King Solomon test on Friday, March 22. They have their study materials, and I sent the study guides (in Spanish and English) to your emails a few days ago.  Math:  This week, we worked on listing factors of numbers. We then used that information to determine if numbers are prime or composite. We ended the week by working on patterns and using rules to add on to patterns. The students need to be on top of their basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. What We Learned this Week: Bible:  We talked about King Solomon's wealth and the temple he built. This was fascinating to us, and we really enjoyed seeing how the temple and the Garden of Eden is connected.  Math:  The students worked on writing equations to solve for word problems requiring multiple steps to solve. Next week, we will look at prime and composite numbers as well as studying patterns.  If your student needs a fresh idea of what to do to practice his / her multiplication and division facts for the math weekly facts log, the following link to a game was shared with me today.
