Week of November 21 & 22

 What We Learned this Week

Bible: We finished up our study on King Saul and the story of how he was chosen to become king.

Reading: The students have officially completed the unit! We celebrated by getting together with the other 4th grade sections and watching the movie "The Tiger Rising." The students fellowshipped in each other's company and enjoyed juice and popcorn. What a fun way to end the afternoon before Thanksgiving break!

Writing: We finished our introduction to persuasive writing. We are ready to begin the writing process after we get back from the break.

Science: The students have finished creating their tools that allowed them to look over a bookcase and into the bookshelf contents. I am so impressed with all the students and their creativity.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break, families. I am praying for safe travels and good fellowship as you spend time with family and loved ones. We are certainly blessed; God is good.
