Week of May 30 to June 2
Last Week of School!
Wow! We made it through the last week of school. I feel incredibly blessed by each and every single one of your children. They have truly made this year an exceptionally good one.
This week, we found ourselves busy with closing out the year. We signed each others' yearbooks, watched a movie with the entire SI community, completed our final barn / greenhouse chores, and attended the last chapel of the year. Two of this week's highlights included our field trip to the Grand Rapids Public Museum. It such such a fun day of learning together. Check out the photos! Thank you so much to the parent chaperones who came with. We appreciate you. The second highlight of the week was the surprise breakfast I put together on Friday morning. I wanted to bless and thank the students for a job well done this year. We fellowshipped over fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, and cookies! Yum Yum! Later, the students read their baton comments and reminisced over memories of this year and previous years.
Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for a good year. Thank you for your gracious patience and your warm welcome. I pray over these kiddos as they enter a much-deserved time of rest. I pray that they laugh and smile a lot. I pray that they learn to love God more. I pray that they grow in their friendships and relationships with family members. I pray that they are all kept safe. I pray that I see them all again in August- this time as big 5th graders.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email or text message. I am here. :))
