THE END!!
Well. I have finally put myself together again to write the last blog post of 4th grade. I feel all the emotions- happy, sad, excitement. But, these are all good, full feelings. We spent a great half-day together. We fellowshipped over food, and the students later got to reflect on the past year by writing on the butcher paper that served as the "table cloth."
I laughed and smiled with them while we played a few goofy games together. But, then it was time to go and say our goodbyes. Boy, was that hard. The kiddos were not the only ones to shed a tear or two...
This afternoon, I sat at the chair and desk of each student and read over their reflections and memories from this past year. I laughed again. I smiled again. I cried again. I took photos of their writing and those will have a special place in my heart.
I'm so proud of these kids. A lot of growth and learning happened this year. A lot of bonds were forged. But, most importantly their relationship with God was strengthened. I will miss these students, but they will only be just a few feet away from me across the hall. They are welcomed to come visit anytime.
Goodbye, my wonderful 4th grade-turned 5th grade students. Los amo. 💜
To God be the glory.
