What We Learned this Week: Bible:   The chapter 13 test over Elisha is scheduled for March 25. I am providing the English study guide  here  so the parents can help support their student's studying. I am also including the Spanish study guide  here  for the students. The students have already received their physical copies. Week of September 22 to 26

What We Learned this Week: Bible:  This week, we studied the love story of Ruth and Boaz. This story is also a love letter from God to us. He sent Jesus to become our Redeemer- just as Boaz was the kinsman-redeemer to Ruth. The Judges and Ruth test is scheduled for Thursday, October 2. I am including the English study guide here . This is for the parents to help support their student's studying. I am including the Spanish study guide here . The students have already received their physical copies. Additionally, I am including a link to the Blooket review games here . The questions are modeled after the questions on the actual test. Happy studying! Math:  We have started unit 2 this week! We reviewed matrixes in addition to mental math multiplication. Some of the types of mental math multiplication we have studied is the following: 6 x 70, 6 x 700, 60 x 70. Week of May 12 to 16

What We Learned this Week: Bible:  We reviewed and took the Unit 14 chapter test this week. Next week, we will start our Isaiah unit. Math:  This week, the students reviewed and took the Unit 7 chapter test. We are looking forward to starting geometry next week! Reading:  We are continuing to read and discuss "Number the Stars." The students are also continuing on with reading their novels as they met with their book club this week. Writing:  We have been working hard on our personal expertise essays. We have been working on finding a strong quote from a reputable source to back up our knowledge in addition to making sure that our introduction paragraphs hook our attention from the start. Spelling:  There will be NO more weekly spelling lists for the rest of the school year! Yay! However, the students will be taking one final spelling test- the 4th Grade High Frequency Word Test.
